Teach and Train

"My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge." (Hosea 4:6)

In Uganda lack of education is a powerful source of despair. Throughout the 22 years of war, hopelessness reigned as people lived in IDP camps and had to focus on simply surviving. Many children were born in the IDP camps and lived their entire childhoods and adolescence in those dreadful conditions - no jobs, sparse education, filth, disease, fear, and violence. To offer education and training is to offer a future of promise. We provide formal training in our Christian Primary School and our accredited New Life Bible College. We also go out to spread the gospel and then disciple and teach intensively in our Portable Bible Schools and Prison Ministry. In every ministry Favor of God undertakes, we are always training simultaneously so that the work and development can continue in our absence.
