Our Children: Leaders In Training! Will You Help Us Train Them?

“Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is older, he will not depart from it.” (Proverbs 22:6)
Training the leaders of tomorrow, is one of our callings. And what a wonderful way to do this, when we can take two commands and fulfill them together. “Pure and undefiled religion before God is this, To care for the fatherless and the widows…” (James 1:27)

1) Competitors registering their positions

Our children registering to compete in an athletic competition.

These precious lives whom the Father has chosen as His own through adoption into His family and into ours – these whom the world has called “orphans” – are turning their lives around to become vibrant leaders for the next generation in Africa. Transform a life, to transform a nation. One day at a time, one life at a time…

Our children participate in sports and athletics, and they love it!

As they do, they learn much about the truth in life… “You’ve all been to the stadium and seen the athletes race. Everyone runs; one wins. Run to win. All good athletes train hard. They do it for a gold medal that tarnishes and fades. You’re after one that’s gold eternally. I don’t know about you, but I’m running hard for the finish line. I’m giving it everything I’ve got. No sloppy living for me! I’m staying alert and in top condition. I’m not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself.” (I Corinthians 9:24-27, Message)
