How Do We Answer the Heart Cry of a Nation?

A baptism of deep desperation hit our gut in 2004 during the national prayer gathering in the Gulu stadium. We rent our hearts for a broken nation (Joel 2:13), weeping like Hannah over the barrenness in the land (I Sam. 1:10-11) and crying out as Rachel who could not be comforted for her children who were no more. (Jer. 31:15) And, as we wept… God began healing… Healing of the land means “healing the destiny of those who are of the land…” Their hearts, bodies, families, spirits, emotions, businesses, churches, land, and even their calling… We believed God would heal...

The Power of God’s Word, Prayer, and a Sacrificed Life

This 2008 sermon communicates the heart of Favor of God and the principals by which we have seen God’s hand move in Uganda and South Sudan.  Carole Ward exhorts the church that “to see the kingdoms of this Earth become the kingdom of our Lord and Savior,” we must live in God’s Word, live a lifestyle of prayer, and completely offer our lives to Jesus in radical obedience. The original recording was produced by Christ Our Shepherd Church in Washington, DC, on 4/27/2008, and it is located in its entirety online here. To download a single file of the whole message (with...

Transformational Prayer!

Have you ever thought about this question, “What would have happened differently, if I had really prayed?” What about Jesus’ question to the three disciples, “Could you not even pray with me for one hour?” He asked that question twice, and even then, found them sleeping, for the third time. (par. Mark 14:37-42)  Was He disappointed? Jesus knew His power and victory, came from His Father, and that connection was kept vibrant, alive, and passionate, through His time alone with the Father. How He wanted His disciples to share that same communion, suffering, strength, victory, and...

Harvest Time Discipleship!

Fields are white!! Where are you reaping? Pray with us to the Lord of the harvest to help us equip, train, and send laborers into ripened fields! Our team covered four districts recently to disciple, train, equip, and empower leaders in fields ready with immense harvest. They were able to train 400 people and distribute 210 Bibles to hungry hearts in two weeks out in the field. As new believers received the Word of God for the first time, they were overjoyed to have their own “weapon.” Now they could read, study, and become equipped, they said, to share the same stories with others. One...

Discipling The Nations!

Dear Friends, We are so grateful to God that we are part of what He is doing in this generation. As spiritual darkness increases, our role is to shine the light of God’s Word into its midst. We as the body of Christ have a big role to play, doing things we may never have dreamed! Now is the only time we have to rise up and bring transformation and change in our world! The Great Commission still stands waiting for us to obey. Jesus has never said, “You have done enough, now you can rest and wait for the reward.” Daily, the voice keeps crying out loud and clear, “Whom...
