It will also allow them to begin their own savings and loan program. The women have also enjoyed the interpersonal impact of the pig project...

I began working with Favor of God Ministries as an IT consultant from May – December 2014. However, I was employed in February 2015 as the head of IT. I had always desired to work with a Christian organisation where I would be supported physically and spiritually and that is what I have found. I have seen such spiritual growth here. I have grown in prayer, and I’ve had an increase in vision. I’ve also had the opportunity to reach my village of Atiak with the Gospel. My vision is to get my own land and build a house, to complete my masters in IT, and  to marry and have a stable family,...

Ishmael’s Testimony – A Damascus Road Experience

Posted by on May 17, 2016 in Field Updates | 0 comments

Ishmael was a successful and staunch Muslim and major in the South Sudanese army when he came to Uganda in search of his parents who had fled from to escape the war. He exhausted all his resources in the hunt, only to discover both parents had already passed away. Destitute and despairing, Ishmael began the 170 mile walk back to South Sudan, contemplating thoughts of suicide. He realized – after a life of faithful commitment to Islam – Muhammad could not help him. As he walked through Gulu, Ishmael passed our House of Prayer and heard singing. He thought, “I have tried...
